The Honorable Minister for School Education, and Honorable Minister for Co-Operation, Government of Tamilnadu, visited our school on31.07.2024. A warm welcome was given by the school management, staff, and students. This visit was a moment of pride and encouragement for our school community.

We are proud to inform that our student A. RITHIKA, VI B won Gold medal in the "The Khelo India Wushu Women's State League"in U -12 Below 30kg ( Sanshou) held at Ten kasi on 31st August 2025.

Alagappa University honoured our teachers with the "Best Teacher Award 2025" on the Teachers’ Day function. The awardees are Mr. T. Ramesh, Headmaster, Mrs. M. S. Latha, P.G. Teacher in Physics, and Mr. K. Muthupandian, Drawing Master. Congratulations to our teachers on this proud achievement.

NSS Special Camp Alagappa Model Higher Secondary School, Karaikudi The National Service Scheme (NSS) Special Camp was successfully conducted at Alagappa Model Higher Secondary School, Karaikudi. The camp aimed to instill social responsibility, teamwork, and a spirit of community service among students. The event concluded with a valedictory function, where the dedicated efforts of all participants and volunteers were appreciated. The camp was a grand success, reflecting the true spirit of service and unity.

Our school students participated in the Tamil Nadu Government School Education Department's " Kalaithiruvizha 2025", a three-level competition. At the union level, our students competed in 13 sections and excelled in 7 categories, securing first place. The same team proceeded to the district level, where 6 out of 7 students secured first place and qualified for the state-level competition. The district-level winners were felicitated by Honourable Minister for Cooperation, Mr. K R Periyakaruppan, who presented shields and certificates. The winning team was further congratulated by Dr. G. Ravi, Vice-Chancellor of Alagappa University and President of the school management committee, Dr. A. Senthil Rajan, Registrar of Alagappa University and Secretary of the school, and Dr. T. Ramesh, Headmaster,and all teacher's of Alagappa. Model HSS, karaikudi. Our school student, M. Ragul (Class XII, Under 19, 70 kg category), has achieved selection to represent Tamil Nadu at the National Level Karate Competition, to be held in Pune, Maharashtra, in January 2026. M. Ragul was congratulated by: - Dr. G. Ravi, Vice-Chancellor of Alagappa University and President of the School Management Committee - Dr. A. Senthil Rajan, Registrar of Alagappa University and Secretary of the School Management Committee - Dr. T. Ramesh, Headmaster - Physical Education Teachers - and the entire teaching faculty for his outstanding achievement in Karate and selection to represent Tamil Nadu at the National Level.
